Decay 15

As I mentioned back in November, I had art duties on a story for comics mag Decay of Australian publisher Dark Oz (http://www.darkoz.com.au/) for issue 14.
Now comes issue 15 for which I submitted the art for a 4 page story script by the awesome Alister Lockhart. I worked hard and I'm really proud of the artwork I accomplished for this one. I liked the story which is basically two guys on a rooftop shooting zombies and I could really play to my strengths... drawing faces with exagerated expressions, rotting zombie corpses and the bare minimum backgrounds.

Decay #14

I recently received my copy of the horror comics anthology 'Decay #14' from Australian publisher Dark Oz (out now!). It has an End of the World theme and it features a six page story with art by me (woohoo!), a fantastic script by Akister Lockhart based on an idea by the publisher Darren Koziol. These are a sample of some panels from the comic.

I guess the message is that you have to face your fears. This monster is terrified of little kids!

Dreamin'

This is actual based on a dream I had where I was playing a strange version of Pac-Man. The character was a strange cross between a sea urchin and the lead from Monsters Inc. I went through a door trying to avoid those creepy ghosts and this is what the inside looked like...! Now where's the save button supposed to be?!?

Rain Man

Maybe I overdid it a bit with the rendering but it's a while since I fooled around with my pens. This was fun and I like the effect on his glasses and overall mood.
